Sky Views Dubai: What to Expect at the Observatory

Sky Views Observatory is the viewing experience within Sky Views Dubai at Address Sky View in Downtown Dubai. On levels 52 and 53, around 219.5 metres above the city, it offers views towards Burj Khalifa and a 46-metre glass-floor walkway. The Glass Slide links the two levels outside the tower; Edge Walk is a separately booked, guided outdoor ledge activity. Choose your ticket by its listed inclusions, not just the attraction name.

The Sky Views Observatory Experience

The indoor observatory at Address Sky View lets you look across Downtown Dubai from above, including a close view of Burj Khalifa. A glass-floor walkway links the towers and gives a very different perspective from a conventional observation deck.

The Glass Slide is a separate transparent ride between the upper and lower levels. Some admission options include a ride, while others have different inclusions. Read the ticket details before choosing a time slot rather than assuming every experience is included.

How is Edge Walk different?

Edge Walk is a guided outdoor activity around the building's ledge, not the indoor glass-floor walkway or Glass Slide. It has its own booking slots, clothing rules and participation requirements. Availability may also depend on the weather.

If you would rather stay indoors, focus on observatory admission and check whether your ticket includes the slide. If you want the outdoor activity, confirm the Edge Walk is explicitly listed before booking.

Sky Views Observatory Dubai FAQs

Sky Views Observatory is an elevated viewing experience at Address Sky View in Downtown Dubai. Visitors can see Burj Khalifa and the surrounding skyline from the indoor observation areas and glass-floor walkway. The Glass Slide and Edge Walk offer different ways to experience the attraction.

The operator's FAQ currently lists Observatory admission from 10:00 AM–8:00 PM and Edge Walk from 10:30 AM–7:00 PM. Last admission may be earlier than closing. Confirm the schedule and your activity's time slot for the date you book.

Prices depend on the date, supplier and experiences included. Observatory admission and Edge Walk can have different prices; use our Sky Views Observatory tickets guide to compare options and check live prices before booking.

Sky Views Observatory is at Address Sky View in Downtown Dubai. The Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station on the Red Line is a nearby metro stop; follow the metro link toward the attraction, or take a taxi to Address Sky View.

Check the entrance and arrival instructions on your ticket, as the Observatory and Edge Walk may have different check-in requirements.

The operator says the Observatory supports wheelchair users and visitors with disabilities. That does not establish eligibility for the Glass Slide or Edge Walk, which have separate participation rules. Confirm the step-free arrival route and any assistance with the venue before booking an activity.

Visitors generally take photos from the observatory. Check the venue's current rules for tripods, professional equipment and photography during individual activities before bringing extra gear.

The operator estimates around 35 minutes to enjoy the Observatory and around 90 minutes for the complete Edge Walk experience. These are estimates, not guaranteed queue times or a limit on your Observatory stay. Allow time for check-in, photography and activity queues; do not interpret the full Edge Walk session as 90 minutes continuously on the ledge.

It suits visitors who want Burj Khalifa in their skyline photographs and a glass-floor experience. If your priority is standing inside Burj Khalifa or avoiding transparent floors, another viewpoint may fit better. Children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian, according to the official FAQ. Admission as a child does not automatically qualify someone for the Glass Slide or Edge Walk.
